The Artist

A Journey Through Mediums

From a young age, painting has been Suzanne's refuge. At 16, she fled her hometown and made her way to Chicago, carrying little more than a few cheap clothes and acrylic paints. Art became her sanctuary—a way to process, escape, and make sense of a world demanding we grow up. In many ways, her work is an act of preserving the childlike wonder so many of us drift away from.

Every brushstroke in her work is deliberate, a process reflecting both struggle and healing. What began as playful oil paintings has evolved into bold, refined compositions using resin, plaster, and oil. Each of the three mediums are a testament to her evolution through both art and life. These paintings aren't just art; they hang on walls like windows, offering a glimpse into over 30 years of Suzanne's experiences, her resilience, and her life's purpose.
